Brian Gross, President

Brian Gross, President of GFI Insurance Brokerage, supervises the day-to-day operations of GFI’s Insurance brokerage in offices throughout the Northeast. Mr. Gross maintains longstanding relationships with key insurance providers and wholesale companies. He drives the division in acquisitions of insurance companies, retail books of business, and wholesale acquisitions.

Mr. Gross is an expert in all real estate programs and working with insurance carriers. He graduated from Touro College with a B.A. in Business and is licensed in Property and Casualty as well as Life and Health insurance.

David Solomons, Vice President of Employee Benefits

David is the ultimate insurance professional, taking the concept of customer service to new heights. The major part of his 26-year career to date was spent with Wells Fargo Insurance Services and its predecessor companies, where he was Senior Vice President. David’s responsibilities included new business development, management of client relationships, and oversight of the team that handled day-to-day servicing of these accounts. David set and managed client expectations, overall strategy, renewal negotiations, and execution of the client’s goals and objectives.

David’s entrepreneurial spirit, fundamental to the management of his book of business, ultimately led him to explore “owning his own shop”. In late 2009, he founded MAX Total Benefit Solutions, Inc., a boutique employee benefits brokerage firm. David’s vision involves a high-tech, high touch solution that supports his client’s needs in a proactive and creative way. This approach won him the success he has achieved to date.

David’s specific expertise lies in the design, negotiation, implementation and management of group benefit programs, claims data analysis and employee education. He has worked with client companies from 10 to 8,000 employees. His passion for the work he does, coupled with a rigorous attention to detail, make an unbeatable combination that will impress the most sophisticated client. Those who have worked with David view him as a virtual member of their human resources team, one who is a caring, reliable and highly responsive subject matter expert.


David is a graduate of Syracuse University with a BA in Political Science. He has two daughters and lives in Manhattan.

Lynn Delaney, Senior Branch Manager (Monticello Office)

Lynn Delaney joined GFI Insurance Brokerage as Senior Branch Manager of the company’s Monticello, New York office in 2002 and is an expert in all forms of insurance. She is responsible for overseeing every aspect the branch including servicing and writing new policies, claims management, accounting, and managing staff.

Prior to GFI, Ms. Delaney managed a major insurance agency for 18 years. She earned her NYS Property and Casualty License in 1996.

Aaron Rosenfeld, Executive Vice President, Director of Sales

Aaron Rosenfeld, Executive Vice President and Director of Sales for GFI Insurance Brokerage, manages the company’s operations teams. His professional ingenuity and mastery of the insurance business has enabled him to expand his group to become one of the largest health insurance brokerage firms in New York City.

Mr. Rosenfeld currently facilitates the training of new sales and oversees the health and life insurance programs within the company. He graduated from Touro College with a B.A. in Management.

Vincent M. Vieni, Senior Vice President of Sales and Strategy

Vincent M. Vieni, Senior Vice President of Sales and Strategy, brings over 30 years of insurance industry expertise to GFI Insurance Brokerage. He oversees the development of the firm’s overall growth strategy, overseeing the growth of employee benefits operations through the expansion of the sales and service teams. Mr. Vieni is also responsible for expanding GFI’s client roster and enhancing revenue growth.

Prior to joining GFI, Mr. Vieni served as Senior Vice President and Employee Benefits Practice Leader for Wells Fargo Insurance, overseeing client retention, compliance monitoring, new business and sales presentations. Mr. Vieni earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the Bernard Baruch School of Business.

Patricia Knapp, Senior Vice President

Patricia Knapp, Senior Vice President, brings over 28 years of experience in the insurance industry to GFI.  She currently oversees the company’s commercial lines department and supervises new and renewal business marketing, claims management, as well as the accounting and customer service departments.  Ms. Knapp also services and acts as risk manager on a book of real estate, hotel, and construction business with a total property value of over a billion dollars.

Prior to GFI, Ms. Knapp worked as CIS Retention Manager at Frenkel and Company where she oversaw a niche program of both direct and wholesale business totaling in excess of $22 million in premium.  She is currently in the midst of pursuing her ARM Designation.
