GFI Realty Services has arranged the $1.75-million sale of 196 Russell St., a three-unit multifamily building located in the Greenpoint section of Brooklyn. The property, built in 1910, totals 3,135 square feet. GFI Realty Associate Sasha Berg represented both the buyer and the seller in the transaction.
“The seller had owned the property for several decades, and was very passionate about finding a buyer who would live at the property, to ensure that the fabric of the neighborhood would be maintained,” said Berg. “We were able to arrange a deal with the perfect buyer—a local aviation professional who had been looking to break into real estate investment.”
The property is situated just off Greenpoint’s Nassau Avenue, a busy commercial thoroughfare. It’s also convenient to the G train, enabling an easy commute into Manhattan.
